Pink Fire Trucks Visit Moffitt Cancer Center The Guardians of the Ribbon, a not-for-profit organization of firefighters, visited Moffitt Cancer Center on Sept. 29 as part of the 26th scheduled stop of the Pink Heals Tour. Three pink fire trucks carrying the Guardians, donning pink fire equipment, were located across the Moffitt campus in front of the main hospital, clinic building and research building. Several people touched by cancer signed the fire engines. Following the event at Moffitt, the trucks traveled with local fire and police departments to Joe Chillura Park in downtown Tampa for a rally. Dr. John Kiluk, a breast surgical oncologist at Moffitt, discussed the latest in breast cancer prevention, screening and support groups at the rally. Moffitt offered breast cancer education materials.
