What is the leading cause of lung cancer for non-smokers? |
Although all of the answers have been found to be risk factors for lung cancer, radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, radon is responsible for about 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year. Secondhand smoke is the third-leading cause of lung cancer and responsible for an estimated 3,000 lung cancer deaths every year. |
