Six years ago Stanley came down with a flu he just couldn’t shake. It turned out, it was more than just a flu. Tests confirmed it was late-stage lung cancer. With limited treatment options, Stanley knew he needed to consult experts. He needed Moffitt Cancer Center.
Moffitt’s Total Cancer Care began with charting the unique genetic fingerprint of Stanley's cancer to potentially determine the most promising path for treatment and recovery. Soon Stanley was entered into an on-site clinical trial that included several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation.
Thanks to Moffitt, Stanley can say that today he is cancer-free and continues to play his bagpipes.
Watch Stanley tell his story in his own words.
