Moffitt Resource Corner at the John F. Germany Public Library in downtown Tampa
In our continuing mission to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer, Moffitt Cancer Center has joined forces with the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative to create the Moffitt Resource Corner, located in the John F. Germany Public Library in downtown Tampa. This area provides the community and those visiting the library with reference materials focusing on the prevention and treatment of cancer, as well as information about the outreach programs provided by the Moffitt Program for Outreach Wellness Education & Resources (M-POWER). The educational pieces on display are free and available to those visiting the Moffitt Resource Corner.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Moffitt Resource Corner took place on Jan. 18, 2011. Please visit our page frequently to learn more about our upcoming series of quarterly lectures. The lectures will offer information on prevention, early detection, research and treatment of cancer.
