Moffitt's Healthy KIDZ Program educates children about the dangers of tobacco, sun protection and the importance of exercising and eating healthy to reduce the risk of cancer.

The Tampa Bay Rays and third baseman Evan Longoria chose Moffitt Cancer Center's Healthy KIDZ program as their designated Pepsi Refresh project. Although Moffitt Healthy KIDZ didn't win the $200,000 grant, Pepsi pledged $5,000 to support this valuable program. Evan visited Moffitt on Aug. 2, 2010, to meet with the kids and to take a tour of some of the research labs with Moffitt CEO Dr. William Dalton.
