Media Relations Team - Terri Hewitt
Biographical Information
As the Community Relations Coordinator for Moffitt Cancer Center, Terri Hewitt works with members of the community and civic organizations to raise awareness of the information and many programs available from Moffitt for the community. She is the contact person for Moffitt's Speaker's Bureau, sponsorships and health fairs.
Before joining the Moffitt team, Terri worked at Westfield Corporation. She was the Marketing Director for Westfield Countryside Mall in Clearwater. She spent most of her time with Westfield developing, coordinating and seeking opportunities that resulted in increased awareness and traffic in the stores.
Terri was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and moved to Florida when she was 11 years old. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication from the University of South Florida. Terri, her husband and their two children live in South Tampa. During her free time, Terri likes to train for races such as the Chicago or Disney Marathon. She shares the love of the sport with her family and teenage daughter, who is a member of the cross-country team at the Academy of Holy Names.
